Sunbrella Fabric from Thibaut
Perennials Fabric — Sew Beautiful Project
Sunbrella fabrics have long been known for their use outdoors from awnings, to boat covers, to patio and poolside cushions. Made from solution dyed acrylic, they are fade resistant, water repellant, mildew resistant and bleach cleanable.
Once limited in pattern and canvas like textures, Sunbrella uped it’s game with the introduction of fabrics with a softer hand and a broader collection of patterns and textures making them desirable for indoor use. Still we gravitate to Sunbrella fabrics for their light fastness, using them in sunlit rooms like patios and sunrooms.
Crypton
Inside/Out from Thibaut
Inside/Out from Thibaut
Inside/Out Relatively new on the market is what I refer to as the hybrid of performance fabrics — Inside/Out. Just as the name infers, this high performance fabric is suitable for use indoors or outdoors. It’s durable (>50,000 double rubs), stain resistant, and fade resistant.
It combines the light fastness of a Sunbrella with the durability and stain repellant properties of a Crypton. With a soft hand and stylish patterns, it’s style and function combined!
