Elements of Design

Color Drenching

Taking it to the next level, color drenching involves immersing a whole room in a single hue. Painting walls and trim the same color, and using varying shades of the same hue in furniture and décor create a cohesive and impactful look.

We’re excited to see that interior design trends are embracing bold colors and rich textures, reflecting a shift towards more personalized, expressive, and nature-inspired interiors, and moving away from the minimalist approaches of previous years. Here are just a few of the trends we are now seeing and look forward to incorporating in our clients homes.

Moody Earth Tones

Deep, rich colors like chocolate, burgundy, indigo, and deep green are replacing neutral palettes, adding warmth and depth to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Textured Walls

Incorporating textures through wallpaper, plaster, lime wash, and wood paneling adds character and dimension to walls, moving away from flat surfaces to more dynamic and engaging designs.

Sustainable and Natural Materials

There’s a continued emphasis on using sustainable and natural materials like wood, stone, and organic textiles. These elements not only promote environmental responsibility but also bring warmth and authenticity to interiors.

Maximalist Décor

Embracing vibrant and expressive styles, maximalist décor moves away from minimalism’s simplicity. Layering patterns, colors, and textures creates rich and dynamic spaces that reflect one’s personal taste.
