Best Treatments for Your Panes: This treatment is a great example of a window solution that is both beautiful and functional. The client called me to help pull the room together after she had purchased new furniture. One concern was the morning and afternoon sunlight that floods the windows. Another challenge was the left window was flush to the corner of the room. Starting with the fabric, we found a beautiful embroidered faux silk that pulled all the colors of her upholstered furniture together and complimented the formal feel of the room. The design solution I recommended, asymmetrical swag valances, draws the eye to the center between the windows, and away from the tight corner space.
